Education Requirements: The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of full-time experience post-baccalaureate in the field of developmental disabilities and must meet the qualifications of a Qualified Professional.
Experience Requirements: The candidate must be a motivated team player, flexible, creative, hardworking, and organized, as well as have excellent problem-solving and communications skills. The candidate must also have solid computer skills and should possess a thorough knowledge of person-centered thinking and state and federal regulations.
The Arc of NC is seeking a full-time Supports Manager to provide support to individuals/families with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Wilmington, NC.
Responsibilities: The Supports Manager will assist individuals/families with the hiring, managing, training, and evaluating of staff. The Supports Manager will also provide clinical supervision for staff, develop short-range goals, complete required reports, and monitor individual authorized services. Maintain communications with all invested parties, coordinate team meetings with families, and provide support to individuals/families during challenging situations. Some travel is required.
