Program Associate – Center for Equity and Energy Behavior
The Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) is seeking a motivated, highly organized individual to serve as a Program Associate with the Center for Equity and Energy Behavior, which focuses on the human dimensions of energy efficiency programs. CEE is an award-winning consortium of efficiency program administrators from the United States and Canada that unify program approaches across jurisdictions to increase impact in fragmented markets. By joining forces at CEE, individual electric and gas efficiency program administrators are able to leverage the effect of their ratepayer funding, exchange information on successful practices and, by doing so, achieve greater energy efficiency for the public good.
The Center for Equity and Energy Behavior at CEE works to increase equitable engagement for all ratepayer participant groups. This work will also focus on how to leverage behavioral science techniques and nudges (such as social norms, loss aversion, anchor bias, etc.) to benefit energy efficiency programs.
This position provides a valuable career growth opportunity for a motivated individual to gain skills in a professional nonprofit dedicated to advancing energy efficiency, utility systems, and greenhouse gas reduction benefits for lasting public benefit.
