Since its unveiling in 2008, the Eyes of Freedom memorial exhibition has served as a tribute to honor the fallen Marines of Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marines. This interactive traveling art installation has been displayed at more than 350 locations in the U.S., including Veterans-specific programs, universities and community events over the last 14 years. Through a gallery of life-size paintings and the bronze sculpture “Silent Battle,” audiences are able to personally connect with the story of the 23 Marines killed in the Iraq War. This unique and one-of-a-kind exhibition also brings awareness to mental health and wellness issues facing our nation’s Veterans.
