What You’ll Do
Lead, develop, and motivate a high functioning development team in all facets of our philanthropy program
Drive CEL’s strategic philanthropy objectives to meet or exceed a $2.7M fundraising goal
Work closely with board to achieve fundraising goals
Create annual and long-term development plans and implement measurable objectives
Monitor and report out on budget and revenue targets to ensure positive outcomes
Develop new and nurture existing relationships that culminate in success
Serve as spokesperson for CEL and maintain strong community presence
What You Have
Bachelor’s Degree, with a minimum 7 years of firsthand, results-driven experience in fundraising
Experience in planned giving strategy and implementation
Strong working knowledge of RE/NXT or equivalent CRM database; understanding of Data points and reports to drive and meet targeted goals
Proven success in soliciting Major Gifts and Managing campaigns
Ability to build strong relationships within and outside of an organization
Demonstrated skill in donor prospecting, cultivation, and matching donor needs and interests
Experience in developing, overseeing, and measuring goals for Development team
Highly effective and excellent communication skills with strength in written, interpersonal, conversational, and presentation skills
What You’ll Get
Salary based on experience and demonstrated success: $115,000 - $135,000
