Job Description

FUNDRAISING

* Assist in developing ongoing fundraising solicitation plans

for existing & past donor base.

* Assist in planning & coordinating special fundraising events

* Assit in grant writing process including providing data

* Meet with donors, solicit donations and build relationships

COMMUNICATION

* Initiatives, coordinates & participates in efforts to publicize

fundraising events

* Arrange for media blast for establishing community

awareness & school enrollment

* Communicate regularly with media & general public about

events & activities

* Responsible for all social media content, web site & external

communications

* Provide monthly reports detailing all metrics for all

communication activities

* Manage Mailchimp emails, add eTapestry emails to newsletter list

*Produces videos to tell the story of A Better World and recruit donors, volunteers

*Assists in planning events

PROGRAM

* Ensure program activities support ABW's Mission to serve by

enriching physical, mental & spiritual development

* Report metrics monthly to the board (Report cards,

i-Ready scores & student retention and absenteeism)

* Manages status of all i-Ready licenses

* Coordinate parent training/classes/resources for i-Ready & school

* Update parents quarterly on i-Ready results

* Execution of Child Protection Policy & training

* Meet with students for discipline, communicate disciplinary actions to parents and teachers

* Support iReady satellite sites with licenses, training

FACILITIES

* Ensure that the facility is cleaned daily

* Ensure that all student are safely dropped off & picked up

* Ensure the bldg is locked after confirming the bldg is empty

STAFF

* Perform weekly teacher meetings/trainings & support

teachers with educational resources

* Perform daily observation in classrooms & computer lab

* Perform regular evaluations of lesson plans

* Encourage staff & volunteer development

* Assist teachers with student discipline / rewards

* Complete yearly written performance reviews and

and ensure HR policies are followed for direct reports
