 1890 Universities Foundation is searching for a full-time Executive Assistant to support the President’s Office in Washington, DC office.

 

Job duties:

Provide direct administrative support to the Foundation’s President & CEO, and Vice Presidents.
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
Schedule and coordinate staff and other routine Foundation meetings (quarterly board meetings, committee meetings and other meetings as required)
Coordinate meeting logistics, namely virtual support via Zoom and other platforms as needed
Prepare invoices for billing Foundation member universities, other partners, clients, and donors Prepare communications, such as memo, emails, reports, meeting minutes and other correspondence
Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
Manage phones, mail, and other matters related to the physical office space
Other administrative related duties as may be needed to support the Foundation’s role with key mission areas within the member 1890 universities, Centers of Excellence, and other key Foundation programs.

If you have the following, they want to hear from you:

At least 3-5 years as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager and/or relevant position
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be willing to work in Washington, DC office at least 3 days per week
Associate’s degree required and Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in higher education is highly preferred
Strong communication, organization, writing and collaboration skills
