Early Learning Specialist – (Full time – 40 hours per week)
Responsible for the following job duties:
Partners with early childhood caregivers/providers, educators and administrators who seek to increase the quality of birth to five early care and education services.
Uses approved, evidence-based assessment tools and resulting data to assist providers to enhance their care and learning environment through professional development.
Specialist will be trained in Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field.
At least 3-5 years’ experience working with early care and education programs.
Experience training and/or coaching adult learners.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices with children.
Ability to provide direct service with a minimum of supervision.
Ability to interact effectively with community based partners.
Ability to organize time effectively to meet assigned work demands.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: starting at $40,000 – $46,000
