UStrive is a nonprofit that democratizes access to social capital so that individuals can achieve their college and career dreams. We do this by connecting UStrivers to mentors through our virtual mentoring platform. We serve students and job-seekers across the US and globally, and over 1.5 million people have opted in for a UStrive mentor.

This position is completely virtual. UStrive staff work from all over the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support tickets submitted by the volunteer mentors and students who use our online platform.

o Check support tickets several times a day, respond, and work with team to identify and implement solutions to problems.

o Occasional phone calls with users who are experiencing issues that require more advanced troubleshooting.

• Other tasks as assigned.

Experience

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum two years of work experience.

• Strong written communication skills.

Preferred:

• Customer service experience.

• Experience managing others. This does not have to be experience in a paid position; for example, experience as a leader in a club could suffice.

Compensation

This position is for an independent contractor. Compensation starting at $25 hourly. Expected about 10-20 hours weekly.
