Job Description

Bird Conservancy of the Rockies (BCR) is now hiring 4 Private Lands Wildlife Biologists (PLWBs) to deliver habitat conservation projects on private lands in eastern Wyoming (1), and northeastern (1) and south-central (2) Colorado. These positions are a partnership between the US Department of Agriculture – Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), BCR, and in Colorado, Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW). PLWBs help agricultural producers improve wildlife habitat and achieve management objectives by developing comprehensive conservation plans, performing resource assessments, and coordinating habitat treatments, with specific attention given to species identified as sensitive or at-risk. These are full-time positions with a salary range of $50,000-53,000/yr. To view detailed position descriptions and apply on the BCR website, go to: https://www.birdconservancy.org/about-us/employment/.
