Charge Nurse
RN/LPN Charge Nurse PRN Two Openings
Responsibilities
Responsible for providing direct nursing care to approximately 17 resident Sisters in our Health Care Center.
Ability to assess resident Sisters' physical, emotional, and psycho social needs, notifying the primary physician appropriately and following the prescribed interventions in accordance with the Kentucky Board of Nursing Licensure.
Supervises and assists nursing assistants in the daily care of the resident Sisters.
Accurately and timely administers medication and treatments as ordered.
Must have excellent working knowledge of medications; their purpose, mechanism of action, side effects, and standard dosages.
Maintains confidentiality of all resident information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 2 years nursing experience caring for adult and geriatric patients; Acute Care Nursing, Home Care, Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing.
Must have an active RN or LPN Kentucky Nursing License to practice in the state of Kentucky with no restrictions.
BLS certification required.
Flexibility in scheduling. Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test.
